Erich Hanke

Erich Hanke is a Principal Member of Technical Staff and Silicon Design Engineer at AMD since September 2022. Prior to this role, Erich held various positions at IntelliProp Inc from October 2007 to September 2022, including Sr. Principal Engineer and Principal Engineer, focusing on storage and memory SoC/ASSP architectures and product planning. Erich has extensive experience in ASIC/FPGA RTL architectures, including Gen-Z, NVMe, PCIe, Ethernet, SATA, NAND, and security features. Additionally, Erich has expertise in embedded firmware across various protocols and security management. Erich began the career as an ASIC/FPGA Design Engineer and holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Computer Engineering and Embedded Systems from the University of Colorado Boulder.
