Todd Basso is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in semiconductor design and development. Currently serving as a Fellow at AMD in the Semicustom Business Unit Product and Technologies Team since January 2021, Todd's interests span CPU, GPU, APU power and performance, AI inference, and emerging technologies. Previously, Todd held the position of Principal Engineer at Intel Corporation, leading power and performance aspects of graphics and throughput computing products. Todd's career at AMD also includes roles as Director of Hardware Design in the Semi-Custom Business Unit and Microprocessor Design Manager. Earlier experience includes engineering positions at Ericsson, Prism Circuits, MoSys, and Sun Microsystems, where Todd contributed to various microprocessor designs and optimizations. Todd Basso holds a PhD and BSE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
