Andrew Fisher

Andrew Fisher is a research scientist at Advanced Scanners, Inc. Andrew has previously worked as a research assistant at Swansea University and as a graduate research fellow at Houston Methodist. Andrew also interned as a project management intern at Emdeon (now Change Healthcare). Andrew has a passion for optics and material properties, and they have utilized their skills in MATLAB to develop software that separates and identifies Raman and fluorescence peaks from a single overlapping dataset. In their current role, they are responsible for building and calibrating custom Brillouin scattering spectroscopy microscopes to observe material properties using non-invasive optics.

Andrew Fisher has a Doctor of Philosophy from Swansea University in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University also in Biomedical/Medical Engineering.
