Dr. Pradeep Vallachira

Dr. Pradeep Vallachira is a Senior Scientist at ADVANO since November 2022, specializing in the development of advanced materials for energy storage applications. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Scientist at Empa from July 2017 to December 2020 and holding the position of DST-INSPIRE Faculty at Cochin University of Science and Technology from May 2016 to June 2018. Dr. Vallachira completed a postdoctoral research stint at Technische Universität Darmstadt focusing on polymer-derived ceramic nanocomposite materials for lithium-ion batteries from February 2014 to March 2016. As a doctoral student at the University of Trento from July 2009 to December 2013, research centered on the characterization of Silicon Oxycarbide glass ceramics for lithium storage applications. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Material Science and Engineering from Università di Trento, an MSc in Chemistry from Mahatma Gandhi University, and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from St. Thomas College, Thrissur.
