Benjamin Buerstedde

Benjamin Buerstedde currently serves as a Partner and Managing Director at Advent International since January 2015. In addition, Benjamin holds the position of an Observer on the Supervisory Board at both thyssenkrupp Elevator and Faerch Group, where involvement began in July 2020 and August 2017, respectively. Prior experience includes serving as Principal at Sun Capital Partners from May 2008 to December 2014 and as an Associate at Merrill Lynch from January 2004 to January 2008. Benjamin began a career in finance as an Analyst at Hawkpoint and Credit Suisse between January 2002 and October 2001. Benjamin's educational background includes a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics from the University of Warwick.
