Sumit Arora

Sumit Arora has over 25 years of experience in workforce management and strategic planning, currently serving as the WW Resource Strategy, Planning & WFM Leader at Microsoft since May 2005. In this role, Sumit designs and implements workforce plans for global support delivery organizations and leads WFM Centers of Excellence to develop resourcing and capacity solutions. Previously, Sumit held positions such as Director, overseeing a large delivery structure within Microsoft’s Customer Services & Support ecosystem, and Group Manager and Team Manager during tenure at ST Microelectronics from 2000 to 2005. Earlier experience includes roles as Project Manager at Castrol India Pvt Ltd and Executive - IT at Jindal Stainless Steel, beginning with a position as System Analyst. Sumit holds a Masters Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and General Management from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, obtained between 1998 and 2000.
