Henri Buenen

Henri Buenen is a seasoned executive in the energy sector with extensive experience and leadership roles. Currently serving as a board member of Neks Energy, Henri is involved in the development of a significant combined cycle gas turbine power plant in Uzbekistan. As Chief Commercial Officer at Luminus since 2003, Henri oversees customer strategy, focusing on decarbonation and energy solutions across a range of services, including gas, electricity supply, and solar panel installations. Additionally, Henri has held various director positions within Luminus and serves as Chairman or Vice Chairman on multiple boards, including Luminus Solutions, Dauvister, NEWELEC, and ATS NV. Henri's previous role as Managing Director of Essent Belgium and advisory positions at Bolt Energie highlight a strong leadership trajectory in the energy landscape. Henri holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences from Eindhoven University of Technology.
