Charlene McEntee

Charlene McEntee is the Director at Advocates. Charlene has worked in the non-profit sector for over 10 years and has been with Advocates for the past 5 years. Prior to joining Advocates, Charlene worked as the Data Management Coordinator for Business & Development Office + The CJL at The Jewish Community Project. In this role, Charlene was responsible for managing the organization's member and donor database, coordinating all aspects of Center for Jewish Life Adult Education classes, and providing daily receptionist coverage for the welcome desk. Charlene also worked as a National Youth Program Intern at Amnesty International where they were responsible for constructing a database and directory of AIUSA's college student groups, compiling resources for the activist student planner, conducting outreach for the launch of AIUSA's Young Professionals Network event, and assisting in hosting the event. Charlene has a passion for working with non-profits and has dedicated their career to helping others.

Charlene McEntee has a certificate in fundraising from New York University's George H. Heyman Jr. Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising. Charlene also has a bachelor's degree in English literature from Hunter College and has taken post-baccalaureate classes in political science and government at Hunter College. In addition, they have received certifications from LinkedIn in delegating tasks, developing emotional intelligence, and negotiating leadership success.
