Hayes has held various positions such as the Chief Marketing Officer and the Executive Director of Corporate Identity at Landor Associates. Hayes was also the VP of Management Supervisor at Saatchi & Saatchi and the Founder/Principal of Roth Marketing Communications Inc. Hayes has worked on branding projects for many well-known companies such as the Cleveland Clinic, Columbia University, Panasonic, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Citi, The Council on Foreign Relations, Hartford HealthCare, PGA of America, and the United Negro College Fund (UNCF).

Hayes Roth received a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from the University of Miami.
