Jose Miguel Ampudia Castro

Jose Miguel Ampudia Castro is an experienced professional in the field of engineering, currently serving as CIO and R&D Material Engineering Manager at AENIUM Engineering since February 2017. In this role, Jose Miguel manages and coordinates R&D efforts in material science and complex direct metal laser sintering (DMLS) additive manufacturing projects across the US and EU, focusing on metallurgy powder characterization. Prior to AENIUM, Jose Miguel worked as a product development engineer at Dima 3D SL, where responsibilities included CAD design and the development of functional components for additive manufacturing equipment. Additionally, employment at Argotec Ingeniería involved the development of components made with additive manufacturing technologies. Jose Miguel holds an industrial engineering degree with a focus on mechanics from Universidad de Valladolid and is currently enhancing business acumen through the Accelerate Cambridge - Ignite program at Cambridge Judge Business School.
