Prabhu Goel is the current director at Aera. Prabhu was previously the CEO and chairman at Gateway Design Automation from January 1982 to December 1990.

Prabhu Goel has a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. Prabhu also has a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur.
