Matthew van Ryt

Matthew Van Ryt is an experienced geologist with a strong academic background in geology and economic geology. Currently serving as a Senior Mine Geologist at Aeris Resources Limited since November 2021, Matthew has also held the roles of Project Geologist and Mine Geologist at the same company. Prior to this, Matthew worked as a Mine Geologist and Graduate Mine Geologist at Glencore CSA Mine from July 2019 to November 2021. Matthew’s early career includes completion of the Xstrata MIM Vacation Student Program with Glencore, where Matthew gained experience as a Labourer, Engineer, and Mine Geologist over four sessions from 2010 to 2014. Matthew holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Economic Geology, a Master of Philosophy in Economic Geology, and a Bachelor with Honours and Bachelor's degree in Geology, all obtained from James Cook University.
