Riley Lopez

Riley Lopez currently serves as the National Press Secretary and Senior Writer for AFL-CIO since April 2024. Prior to this role, Riley was the Press Secretary at Reproductive Freedom for All from July 2022 to April 2024, following a position as Press Secretary and Speechwriter in the United States Senate from December 2021 to July 2022. Riley's earlier experience includes serving as Press Assistant in the Office of Speaker Nancy Pelosi from January 2021 to December 2021 and as a Constituent Services Representative in the U.S. House of Representatives from February 2020 to January 2021. Additionally, Riley worked as a Writing Center Tutor at New York University from August 2017 to December 2019. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in English and Education from New York University and current enrollment in a Master of Science program in Strategic Communication at Columbia University, set to complete in May 2026.
