Hiwot Derese

Hiwot Derese is a skilled Mobile Application Developer currently working at A2SV | Africa to Silicon Valley since December 2022, where contributions include the development of a rideshare mobile app. Hiwot achieved recognition as a Semifinalist at the 2024 AI for Impact Hackathon, ranking among the top 32 teams from over 1118+ across Africa. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Engineer and Community Education Coordinator at A2SV, focusing on Data Structures and Algorithms in Python.
