Gerald Chihota

Gerald Chihota is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in board governance and legal services. Currently serving as Director of the Board Secretariat at the African Export-Import Bank since December 2009, Gerald has previously held positions as Senior Manager and Legal Services Manager within the same institution. Prior to joining Afreximbank, Gerald served as Head of Legal for Southern Africa at Barclays Bank from 2006 to 2009. Gerald holds an LLM in International Economic Law from the University of Warwick and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Zimbabwe.
