Martha Musimbi

Martha Musimbi serves as a Board Member and Legal Advisor for FEDWEN Kenya from January 2024, focusing on women’s rights in the deaf community. Currently a Peacebuilding Fellow with the Salzburg Global Seminar, Martha engages in initiatives for peace and reconciliation across Asia. Martha is also the Director for the African Law Students' Association, steering efforts for law students with disabilities and report writing. As an International Court Mediator since 2019, Martha manages court-authorized mediations and conducts legal research. Prior experience includes roles as a Pro Bono Mediator for FIDA-Kenya and a Lead Legal Officer and Legal Assistant in various law firms, alongside earlier positions in consultancy and volunteer leadership. Martha holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Kenyatta University and a Master's Degree in International Law from Wuhan University, complemented by certified mediation training.
