Petrus Kauluma Hatupopi

Petrus Kauluma Hatupopi is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in human rights and environmental law. Currently serving as a Legal Officer at the African Union since March 2024, responsibilities include handling human rights complaints and contributing to policy development. Past positions include Associate Legal Officer at the United Nations, where contributions were made to the Montevideo Environmental Law Programme, and Legal Associate at the African Union’s Office of the Legal Counsel, providing legal advice and conducting legal research.
