Noorin Mawani

Noorin Mawani is the Co-Head of the Transform Health Fund at AfricInvest Group, responsible for the design, fundraising, and investment of a debt/mezzanine fund aimed at scaling healthcare innovations across Africa since January 2022. Prior to this role, Mawani served as an Investment Manager and Investment Executive at CDC Group plc from September 2015 to January 2022, focusing on investment evaluations and compliance in Africa. Experience also includes an Associate position at Casdin Capital, LLC, where the focus was on the life sciences and healthcare industry, and a Program Manager role at the Clinton Foundation, leading initiatives to improve access to HIV/AIDS medicines. Early career experience involved management consulting at Accenture and a summer analyst position at CPP Investment Board. Noorin Mawani holds degrees in Management Science and Engineering from Columbia Business School and Columbia Engineering, and an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Ivey Business School at Western University.
