Trevor Loy

Trevor Loy has over 15 years of venture investing, entrepreneurial and operating experience in technology ventures. He focuses on investments in semiconductors, software-as-a-service, and digital services. He brings particular strengths in opportunity recognition, marketing strategy, and resource building. Trevor is also a board member of the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA).

Prior to the creation of Flywheel’s institutional funds, Loy managed a “super angel” fund, Flywheel Capital. Prior to Flywheel Ventures, he held entrepreneurial, executive, and technical roles at companies including Gigabeat (backed by Kleiner Perkins and acquired by Napster); Brooktree (acquired by Rockwell Semiconductor, now Conexant Systems); ParkingNet, Teradyne, and Intel Corporation. Trevor holds a BS in Electrical Engineering, MS in Electrical Engineering, and MS in Management Science & Engineering, all from Stanford University. He also studied at the Stanford Center for Technology & Innovation in Kyoto, Japan, and the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology.
