Jane Alcott

Jane Alcott is a seasoned geotechnical professional with extensive experience in the mining sector. Currently serving as a Geotechnical Advisor and previously as Engineering Superintendent at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited since August 2020, Jane has a strong background in rock mechanics gained during the tenure as a Rock Mechanics Engineer at Hecla Québec from November 2016 to July 2020. Jane's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological Engineering with a Hydrogeology option from the University of Waterloo, a Master of Applied Science in Civil Engineering focused on Rock Mechanics from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Education from Trent University.
