Patrick Mercier

Patrick Mercier is a seasoned mining professional with extensive experience in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as the General Manager of the Odyssey Mine at Mines Agnico Eagle Limitée since March 2023, Patrick previously held multiple managerial positions, including General Manager of the Odyssey Mine and Mine Operation Manager at Partenariat Canadian Malartic. With a strong background in mining engineering, Patrick has developed expertise in mine design, planning, rock mechanics, and ground control across a diverse range of projects. Prior positions include senior engineering roles at Stornoway Diamond Corporation and SNC-Lavalin, as well as supervisory and engineering roles at Xstrata Zinc. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology and a Bachelor in Engineering with a focus on Geological Engineering from Université Laval.
