Veronique Falmagne

Veronique Falmagne is a seasoned professional in the mining industry with extensive expertise in mining geomechanics and mine design. Currently serving as a Senior Mining Advisor at Agnico-Eagle Mines since October 2012, Veronique provides mentorship and oversees mining studies while promoting best practices globally. Prior to this role, a Principal in Mining Geomechanics at Golder Associates from May 2005 to September 2012, Veronique established a rock engineering team and managed numerous geomechanical projects across multiple continents. Earlier experience includes a Team Leader position at Noranda Inc. from July 1998 to July 2003, where Veronique led a diverse technical team in various mining technologies. Veronique holds a Ph.D. in Mining Geomechanics from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining and Mineral Engineering from McGill University.
