Laurent Michel

Laurent Michel currently serves as the Director of AI strategy consulting at AI Builders, a position held since October 2024. Prior to this, Laurent co-founded and acted as COO at AI-vidence from January 2023 to October 2024, focusing on product engineering. From January to December 2022, Laurent worked as a Senior Advisor at CMI Stratégies, specializing in innovation and digital and environmental transitions for public sector clients. A previous role as Director of Public Affairs at Platform.sh involved shaping the company's strategy in Europe, with particular emphasis on cloud privacy, leading to participation in the Gaia-X initiative. Laurent was also the Director for Digital in the French Investment Program at the Prime Minister’s office from September 2014 to June 2020. Earlier in the career, Laurent held the position of Vice-President at Headlink Partners, co-founded and managed af83 and Géo12, and served as Manager at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Educational qualifications include an engineering degree from Télécom Paris, an actuary degree from the Institut des actuaires, and an MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs.
