Mauricio Muñoz is a Research Engineer at Bosch Center for Artificial Intelligence since April 2018, focusing on fundamental and applied research in safe, robust, and explainable AI to address existing challenges in deep learning. Previously, from September 2015 to March 2018, Mauricio served as a Machine Learning Research Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover, leading machine learning initiatives with Land Rover Ben Ainslie Racing and participating in collaborative projects with prestigious institutions such as Cambridge University and MIT. Additionally, during an extended placement at Land Rover BAR from September 2015 to August 2017, Mauricio worked as a Machine Learning Performance Engineer, contributing to data analysis and AI development during AC35. Mauricio holds a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Freiburg, with a non-degree visiting student experience in Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
