Kevin N. Shortland

Kevin N. Shortland has extensive experience in food safety and quality management, currently serving as the Manager for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East at AIB International, Inc. since January 2010. In this role, Kevin inspects, controls, and trains sites across these regions. As a Food Safety Professional and Trainer, responsibilities include conducting food safety audits, training colleagues, and implementing HACCP, Food Defence, and Supplier Verification programs. Prior experience includes working as a BRC auditor at Efsis from January 2000 to June 2009, and as a Quality Manager and Food Safety Supplier Auditor at Fyffes from January 1999 to January 2000. Kevin has completed multiple degrees in Micro Awareness, Food Science, and related fields from various institutions from 1974 to 2016, and achieved O levels in multiple subjects from George Farmer School Holbeach between 1974 and 1979.
