Begoña Ruiz

Begoña Ruiz is the Director of the Technologies' Unit and Head of the Department of Biotechnology at ainia centro tecnológico, overseeing research lines in industrial biotechnology, biogas, biorefineries, applied microbiology, and omics technologies. Additionally, Begoña serves as the Head of the Department of Bioassays, managing microbiology analysis of foods and research in food safety. Experience includes being a Biogas Project Manager, focusing on anaerobic digestion and energy valorization of biogas. Begoña is a board member at BIOVAL and a member of EJE&CON. Educational qualifications encompass a Ph.D. from Universitat Politècnica de València, a Master's in Industrial Security and Environment, and chemical engineering credentials. Begoña has also completed executive programs aimed at enhancing leadership skills.
