Dominique French

Dominique French is an experienced media professional and educator currently serving as an instructor at the Association of Independents in Radio (AIR), focusing on interview training for editors, hosts, and producers. Previously, Dominique was a podcast producer and host at YR Media from August 2021 to 2024 and an AIR Media New Voices Scholar in 2020, during which time Dominique produced a 10-part narrative mini-podcast and received mentorship from NPR's Priska Neely. Additionally, Dominique has held roles as a research assistant at Northwestern University, where expertise in managing forensics collections was demonstrated, and as a volunteer director at the Smithsonian Institution, managing significant events including the Grand Opening of the National African American History and Culture Museum. Dominique holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Theatre from Northwestern University.
