Ricardo Gamba

Ricardo Gamba is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in core payments, blockchain infrastructure, and application development. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer and Core Payments Team Lead at Airbnb since July 2022, Gamba has previously held prominent roles at Meta, where contributions included the development of blockchain infrastructure for the Diem project, and at LinkedIn as Tech Lead for the Commerce and Payments Team. Earlier career highlights include serving as Principal Software Engineer at Banwire.com, where responsibilities included backend API development and PCI DSS compliance, and acting as CTO at meXBT, overseeing product development and compliance. Gamba co-founded multiple tech startups, including ByPrice.com and Crowd Solutions SAPI de CV, exhibiting a strong entrepreneurial spirit since the early stages of their career, which began as a Software Engineer at Gamol.
