Derek Bergren

Derek Bergren is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and project management, currently serving as a Bulk Sales Specialist and Senior Project Engineer at Airgas since November 2017. Previously, Derek contributed to Unilever as a Senior Process Engineer, implementing the World Class Manufacturing program and optimizing factory processes. At Naval Sea Systems Command, Derek acted as the technical lead for nuclear electronics systems on submarines, focusing on equipment reliability. Prior roles include Division Officer aboard the USS Toledo and Electrician's Mate in the US Navy. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
