Polycarp Ndekana

Polycarp Ndekana currently serves as the Group Head of Products and Partnership for Airtel Money at Airtel Africa since July 2023. Prior to this role, Ndekana was the Head of Department for Next Financial Services at Safaricom PLC from October 2021 to September 2023, and held the position of Director of Airtel Money at Airtel Money Malawi between February 2020 and October 2021. Ndekana's experience also includes leadership in M-Commerce Business Development and Marketing at Vodacom Tanzania from December 2014 to January 2020, where responsibilities included driving the growth of M-Pesa and enhancing customer experience. Earlier roles include Product Development Manager for M-Commerce: Payments and IT Specialist at CLKnet Project, as well as a Packet Core Administrator at Vodacom. Ndekana holds a degree from Bangalore University, completing studies in 2007.
