Akshay Kara

Akshay Kara is a skilled Byggprojektledare with extensive experience in construction project management. Akshay has been with Akademiska Hus since October 2024 and previously worked at Lejonfastigheter AB from September 2016 to October 2024, where responsibilities included managing a diverse range of projects, from minor refurbishments to larger renovations and new constructions, as well as early-stage program planning and lease agreements. Prior experience includes a role at Sweco from January 2015 to September 2016, involving project management and various consulting assignments, as well as practical experience during a brief internship at Peab in January 2014, focusing on multi-family housing construction. Early professional development included work at Arla Foods as a quality control assistant during weekends and holidays while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Linköping University, which Akshay completed in 2014.
