Romain Fontanges

Romain Fontanges is an experienced executive in supply chain management and purchasing, currently serving as the Executive Director of Purchasing for North America at Akebono Brake Corporation since May 2017, overseeing a substantial annual spend of $500 million across multiple plants and commodities. Previously, at Faurecia Automotive Seating, Romain held roles including Sales Director and Purchasing Director, significantly contributing to lifetime sales exceeding $600 million and establishing a robust purchasing team in Mexico. Romain's career at Faurecia also includes various positions in program purchasing, leading the successful launch of major automotive programs. Romain holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
