Oyvind Hovde

Oyvind Hovde is an advanced petroleum engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently working at Aker BP ASA since December 2023. Previously, Oyvind held various engineering positions at BW Offshore from June 2014 to December 2023, including Engineering Manager and Topside System Engineering Manager for the Leviathan FPSO project. Prior experience includes project management at Agility Group AS, technical authority roles, and process engineering across multiple projects at BW Offshore, from 2006 to 2014. Additionally, Oyvind worked at Norsk Hydro from 1998 to 2006 in various roles focusing on topside leads and production engineering. Oyvind holds a Siv.ing degree in Mechanical Engineering from Norges Tekniske Høgskole and studied at the University of San Diego from 1995 to 1997.
