Ajeth Kumar is a seasoned professional in compliance, certification, and technical safety management within the oil, gas, and renewable energy sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Compliance & Certification Manager at Aker Solutions since February 2022, Ajeth focuses on aligning industry best practices for accelerated technology development and addressing regulatory gaps related to HVDC/AC substations, CCUS, and hydrogen. Ajeth's prior experience at DNV includes roles as Senior Project Manager & Technical Safety Lead, HSEQ Manager, Offshore Specialist, and Fleet-in-Service and Newbuilding Surveyor, where extensive project management and compliance consulting services were delivered primarily to the offshore oil and gas industry. Early career experience was gained at Qatargas and The Great Eastern Shipping Co. Ltd as a marine surveyor and maintenance engineer, respectively. Ajeth holds a Master's degree in Offshore Structural Engineering from Newcastle University, a Post Graduate Degree in Marine Engineering from Great Eastern Institute of Maritime Studies, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
