Philip Trevett

Philip Trevett is an experienced financial risk and compliance professional currently serving as Chief Risk Officer at Al Rayan Bank since January 2022, overseeing Prudential, Credit, and Operational Risk, along with Compliance, Financial Crime, and Privacy. Prior to this role, Philip held various senior positions at C. Hoare & Co. from January 2001 to October 2021, including Head Of Compliance and Risk, where responsibilities encompassed managing the Senior Manager Functions for Risk and Compliance, and overseeing the Money Laundering Reporting Officer and Data Protection Officer. Philip began the compliance career as a Compliance Assistant/Deputy Compliance Officer and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Southampton, completing studies in 2000, after attending Cranleigh School.
