Sameh Mahmandar CPA, CGMA is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial control and regulatory reporting. Currently serving as Head of Finance at Al Salam Bank since July 2022, Sameh has previously held the position of Executive Senior Manager of Financial Control at Ithmaar Bank from March 2016 to July 2022, where oversight of all financial control aspects and specialization in Basel III reporting were primary responsibilities. Prior to that, Sameh worked as Manager of Financial Control and Head of Internal Controls at Khaleeji Commercial Bank BSC from August 2010 to March 2016, and began a career as a Financial Analyst at Ernst & Young from June 2006 to July 2010. Sameh holds a BSc in Accounting from the University of Bahrain and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant, as well as a Certified Public Accountant.
