Asteria Mapunda

Asteria Mapunda, P.Eng, has extensive experience in mine planning and process improvement, currently serving as a Mine Planner for Underground Operations, Backfill & Construction, and Drill/Blast/Development at Alamos Gold Inc. since December 2017. Prior to this role, Asteria worked at Northern Pulp Nova Scotia Corporation from June 2014 to November 2017 as a Process Improvement Coordinator, focusing on analyzing operations and maintenance processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Asteria holds a degree in Mineral Resource Engineering, Mining and Petroleum from Dalhousie University, earned between 2010 and 2014.
