Lydie Lake is a dedicated professional currently serving as an Alani Nu Ambassador and Community Engagement Assistant I at The George Washington University, while also holding the position of Vice President of Membership for CHAARG. With a strong background in journalism, Lydie writes for The GW Hatchet, contributing impactful stories and serving as a fact checker. Previous experiences include interning at the Minnesota Department of Transportation, where Lydie issued press releases and managed public engagement strategies, as well as administrative roles at Pure Green Lawn Service. Lydie began a journey in journalism and mass communication at The George Washington University after obtaining an Associate of Arts degree from Rochester Community and Technical College.
