Catherine Lewis La Torre is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in finance and investment management. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director at Alantra since April 2023, La Torre previously led the British Business Bank as CEO from September 2016 to January 2024, guiding the organization through the Covid crisis and overseeing British Patient Capital's operations. Prior roles include Head of Private Equity at Cardano, Partner & Deputy CEO at Fondinvest Capital, and Co-Founding Partner at Proventure, among others. La Torre holds an Executive Master’s in Public Administration and a B.Sc. in Applied Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
