Nigel Mattravers

Nigel Mattravers is a seasoned consultant and managing director with extensive experience in waste and resource management, particularly in the development and operation of innovative facilities for waste treatment. Currently leading a project for the ALBA Group Asia to manage Hong Kong's Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment, Mattravers has also served as Head of Communications for New Life Plastics Limited, overseeing a pioneering plant for producing food-grade PET from local sources. Mattravers has held various leadership roles, including Director of Waste & Resource Management at WYG Group and Director at London Remade, and has contributed to numerous significant waste management projects across the UK. Mattravers holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Salford and possesses a robust track record of driving sustainability initiatives within the industry.
