Chelsea McNaughton

Chelsea McNaughton, MBA, currently serves as a Statute Administrator for the Government of Alberta since August 2023. Previously, Chelsea held various positions at AltaML, including Project Manager and Chief of Staff (Contract) from August 2021 to June 2023. Chelsea's experience at the Alberta School Boards Association (ASBA) from 2019 to 2021 includes roles as Director of Governance, Governance Manager, and Governance Coordinator. Earlier career highlights encompass a position as Governance Assistant at MacEwan University from 2016 to 2019 and Executive Assistant to Council at The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) from 2013 to 2016, where Chelsea was instrumental in managing a secure internal website redevelopment and assisting clients through the licensing application process for Engineers and Geoscientists. Chelsea's academic credentials include an MBA in Public Policy and Management from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Commerce from MacEwan University, along with a summer exchange program in Natural Resources Management and Policy at the Norwegian School of Economics in 2018.
