Marley Rafson

Marley Rafson is a co-founder of Alcove, where efforts focus on helping carbon dioxide removal companies achieve commercial scale since May 2022. Prior to this role, Marley served as a policy fellow at the Office of the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives from July 2021 to April 2022, contributing to tech and climate policy for key legislation including the Inflation Reduction Act and the CHIPS and Science Act. From August 2019 to July 2021, Marley worked as a software engineer at Replica, a Sidewalk Labs spinout dedicated to providing privacy-first transportation and commerce data solutions. Earlier experience includes a position as a software engineer at Google from August 2017 to July 2019, where responsibilities involved enhancing augmented and virtual reality capabilities on the web. Marley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Brown University.
