Abbas Ishaq

Abbas Ishaq is a scientific professional with extensive experience in research and management roles. Currently serving as Scientific Manager and Research Scientist at Alcyomics since January 2021, Abbas Ishaq also contributes as a Peer Review Assistant for Editorial Office Ltd since September 2021. Prior experience includes a position as Research Associate at Newcastle University, where key responsibilities involved assessing mouse husbandry and implementing imaging methods. Abbas Ishaq holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Aging and Senescence from Newcastle University, along with an MPhil in Ageing, and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Cell Biology from The University of Edinburgh. Additionally, experience includes serving as Rifle Chair for Scottish Student Sport, overseeing various rifle competitions among Scottish universities.
