Gururaj Joshi

Gururaj Joshi, PhD, is a seasoned professional in biomanufacturing, currently serving as the Sr. Manager of BioManufacturing at Aldevron since April 2019. In this role, Gururaj provides leadership for manufacturing operations, client communication, and strategic decision-making. Previously, during tenure at Catalent Pharma Solutions from April 2015 to April 2019, Gururaj held positions as cGMP Biomanufacturing Supervisor and Sr. Associate, focusing on the production of biologics and downstream protein purification. With foundational experience as an Assistant Scientist and Research Associate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from March 2007 to January 2015, Gururaj contributed to peptide design and validation. Earlier career includes a position as Supervisor Chemist at Asian Paints, where Gururaj oversaw production unit operations. Gururaj holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Kentucky and advanced degrees in Chemistry from Savitribai Phule Pune University and Osmania University.
