Ian Troop is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership and governance across various sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Canadian Paralympic Committee since March 2021, Troop aims to enhance the development of Paralympic sports in Canada. Additionally, Troop holds the position of Chairman and Chair Emeritus at the YMCA of Oakville, where strategic initiatives have been implemented to ensure financial robustness post-COVID. Troop also chairs the Capital Campaign for the West Park Healthcare Centre Foundation, focusing on funding for the new West Park Hospital. Previous roles include CEO of the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games Host Corporation, Chairman of Isologic Innovative Radiopharmaceuticals, and Operating Advisor for OMERS Private Equity. Troop's early career includes significant positions at ConAgra Foods and Procter & Gamble. Troop holds a BBA in Marketing/Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University and an ICD.D Accreditation from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
