Joshua Scott

Joshua Scott is an experienced culinary professional with expertise in research and development across various roles in the food industry. Currently serving as R&D Lead at Alec's Ice Cream since June 2023, Joshua has previously held positions such as R&D Chef at Renegade Foods, where plant-based salami was developed using traditional methods, and Product Development Chef at Fresh Creative Foods, focused on creating enjoyable food experiences. Joshua's entrepreneurial spirit is evident from co-owning The Food Preppie from October 2016 to October 2019. Other notable roles include Product Development Technologist at Two Chefs on a Roll and R&D Chef at La Terra Fina. Joshua's career began as a Food Tech/Chef's Assistant at Orval Kent Foods, transitioning to Research Chef and gaining foundational culinary training with an Associate of Applied Science degree from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Austin, Texas.
