Ilona Vandersmissen

Ilona Vandersmissen is an accomplished communications specialist with extensive experience in digital content strategy and marketing. Currently serving at Alexianen Zorggroep Tienen since February 2022, Ilona has previously held various roles at Bose Corporation from August 2015 to April 2021, including digital content strategist and acting manager of the digital content team. Prior experience includes positions as a digital project manager and web content coordinator at Bose Europe, freelance journalist at Het Nieuwsblad, European content executive at bmi, and insurance officer at Fortis Insurance Belgium. Ilona holds a Master’s degree in Translation and Multilingual Communication from HUB (VLEKHO) and has further education in communication management from PXL and Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven.
