Eric Bachman

Eric Bachman has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and medical research fields, currently serving as Executive Director, Global Hematology and Early Pipeline Lead at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Previously, Eric held the position of Senior Medical Director at Vertex Pharmaceuticals and served as Sr. Medical Director of Translational Medicine at Alexion Pharmaceuticals. Eric's early career included work in Translational Medicine at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research and as a Physician at Boston University School of Medicine. Eric's academic background includes an internship and residency at Harvard Medical School from 1995 to 2004, following the attainment of a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and PhD from Duke University School of Medicine from 1987 to 1995.
