Vinayak Bindal

Vinayak Bindal currently serves as the Head of Compliance for Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Canada, overseeing compliance for commercial operations and the R&D hub since July 2023. In addition, Vinayak is a member of the Board of Governors for the IIA Toronto Chapter. Previous experience includes roles as Compliance Officer for SAP, Assistant Director of Corporate Compliance at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, and Head of Compliance for Merck Group in the ANZ and SEAS regions. Vinayak has also held compliance and audit roles at Zimmer Biomet, Anheuser-Busch InBev, Pernod Ricard, EY, and PwC. Educational credentials include an MBA from IBS Hyderabad, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Delhi University, and Healthcare Compliance Certificates from Seton Hall University School of Law.
