Andrew Shaw

Andrew Shaw serves as the Vice President of Alfanar Electrical Systems since February 2022, following a distinguished career in the cable and engineering sectors. Previously, Andrew Shaw was an Advisor to the Board at Dubai Cable Company - Ducab from August 2007 to June 2022 and held the position of Managing Director at Prysmian from 2003 to 2007. Earlier roles include CEO in China at Prysmian and Managing Director at Power Cables Malaysia from 1998 to 2003, as well as a business development role at Courtaulds - International Paint from 1990 to 1997. Andrew Shaw holds an MBA from London Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London, complemented by foundational education at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School in Blackburn.
